The group of investors have acquired a 51 per cent controlling stake in the Scottish Premiership club, following approval from the Scottish FA. Brighton owner Tony Bloom's multi-million-pound offer to invest in Hearts has been approved. His proposal to acquire a 29 per cent stake in the club for £9.86m was put to a vote by the Foundation of Hearts - the supporters group who own the Tynecastle Park outfit. Following a near three-week consultation, they confirmed 98.5 per cent of its members who voted backed the plans - surpassing the 50 per cent required for Bloom's bid to go ahead.

Kilmarnock have appointed Stuart Kettlewell as their new manager. As revealed by Sky Sports News on Sunday, the former Motherwell and Ross County boss has replaced Derek McInnes, who left Rugby Park to join Hearts last Monday. Scotland captain Rachel Corsie will retire from football following the upcoming Nations League matches against Austria and Netherlands. The defender, who has 154 caps for the national side, was recalled to the squad by new head coach Melissa Andreatta last week. However, a series of injuries had left her in "chronic pain" and after six surgeries - including five on her left knee - Corsie admits now is the right time to retire.
