MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — A burglary in a Menomonee Falls suburb ended with a resident shot with non-fatal but "serious injuries" early Sunday morning, according to a release from the Menomonee Falls Police Department. At least two suspects broke into a home on the W136 N6000 block of Weyer Farm Dr. in an attempted burglary. A victim inside was shot after confronting the suspects. MFPD and the Menomonee Falls Fire Department responded to the scene at about 2:40 a.m. and treated the victim at the home.

A Whitnall Middle School teacher has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. Ryan Craig, 37, teaches 8th grade English, according to a criminal complaint. According to the criminal complaint, the City of Muskego Police Department received a tip from Google and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that fifteen files were uploaded and stored in Google Photos and Drive.

The Menonmonee Falls Police Department is investigating a shooting at an unoccupied FedEx facility. They say a suspect fired 25 rounds while inside the building. Officers say they got a call around 9:40 p.m. Sunday about a suspect who had entered the FedEx facility on County Line Road with a semi-automatic handgun. When officers arrived, they say they heard one gunshot from inside. Police say a 27-year-old male suspect came out of the building with a gun in hand.

All four southbound lanes of I-43 near Good Hope Road in Milwaukee County are closed. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department responded to a crash near I-43 and Good Hope around 10:20 Tuesday morning. They're expecting all four south bound lanes to remain closed for at least two hours. Traffic is backed up for more than three miles behind the crash. TMJ4 is keeping an eye on the situation. MILWAUKEE — Cold temperatures have claimed the lives of three people in Milwaukee over the last few days, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said Monday. All three deaths are "probable hypothermia deaths" and all three individuals were unhoused, according to an email sent by the agency. A 64-year-old man was pronounced dead in the 500 block of S. Layton at 1:40 p.m. on Friday, January 12th. He was found under a bridge. A 69-year-old man was pronounced dead in the 2900 block of N.
