Fans of 2012’s action-RPG shooter Borderlands 2 can grab the game free on Steam right now but it’s also being review bombed for different reasons. Before the game was made free, it was sitting with a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with more than 287,000 reviews. However, over 4,600 recent reviews have brought that score down to “Overwhelmingly Negative” in retaliation to new controversial changes to Gearbox and Take-Two Interactive’s Terms of Service.

Developer CD Projekt Red might be hard at work on The Witcher 4 right now but it’s not done with Cyberpunk 2077. The studio announced that it had been “cooking in secret” – the game will receive new content later this month in the form of new side quests which will arrive via an update on all platforms (including Nintendo Switch 2). A sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Project Orion, is also in the pre-production stages of development.

Konami revealed the release date for its upcoming psychological horror title, Silent Hill F, at last night’s PlayStation State of Play event while showcasing some terrifying new gameplay running on PS5. The game is set to release this September for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Silent Hill F is developed by NeoBards Entertainment and written by Ryukishi07, the writer behind the acclaimed Higurashi When They Cry horror visual novel series.
