Ubisoft is taking another crack at the battle royale genre, this time with a new game inspired by Apex Legends. That’s according to sources close to Insider Gaming which claim that the untitled battle royale is called “Scout.” Apparently, it’s been in development for a few years already and could be close to release. As reported by Insider Gaming, Ubisoft is taking a few pages from the book of Apex Legends for its own new battle royale game.

Blizzard Entertainment recently laid out the 2025 roadmap for Diablo 4, giving players a taste of all the new content coming to the game over the next 12 months. Series head Rod Fergusson says his plan for the franchise actually covers the next decade as he has a 10-year roadmap in mind. Unfortunately, Fergusson made no mention on Diablo 5 or if that 10-year plan also covers a potential sequel.

I think the most frustrating thing about Netflix’s and Adi Shankar’s take on Devil May Cry is that it’s almost a great adaptation. It almost understands what makes Capcom’s source material so beloved by millions of fans. It almost gets why Dante is such a fun protagonist. Fun bursts of action, some note-worthy voice acting, and moments that genuinely made me giggle with joy as a fan of the games do a lot of the heavy-lifting here.

Both events will be livestreamed in June 2025 which typically contains new game reveals, announcements and exciting world premieres. Netflix says Love, Death, and Robots Vol. 4 will debut with ten episodes and span various worlds and art styles. The show’s executive producers, David Fincher and Tim Miller, have returned to work on Vol. 4, and Kung Fu Panda 2’s Jennifer Yuh Nelson is also directing the series.
