Danesfort prevailed in a shoot out decider against Rower-Inistioge, following an epic battle that produced dramatic finishes both at the end of normal time and extra-time. Rower-Inistioge were cruising to victory with five minutes of normal time remaining as they led by seven points (0-18 to 0-11), but Danesfort kept plugging away. Four unanswered points, followed by a last gasp goal from goalkeeper Paddy Hogan, brought about extra-time.

The Irish-based video game developer, Keywords Studios, has backed a €2.5 billion takeover offer from Swedish private equity firm EQT. The Dublin-based company, which is a London-listed firm, received the offer worth €29 a share and marks a 66.7% premium to Keywords’ closing share price on May 17.

After the company received backlash over paid mods for Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios' chief Todd Howard has spoken out and confirmed they are looking into its pricing model for creations content.
