One of the best things to watch to keep up with Israel’s genocide is the Electronic Intifada livestream. And one of the best analysts on Gaza is Helena Cobban, whom I’ve happily promoted. She was recently on the show. All seemed to agree that Trump was being “incoherent” in his Gaza policy. I think this misses the point. The point is that all US presidents seem “incoherent” because their stated goals are not their actual goals.

I put out the following two news releases today and yesterday via accuracy.org. The fact that the Signal “leak” involved major propagandist Goldberg and the timing of it — to focus attention on that rather than the carnage being inflected, makes me wonder if it were actually accidental as many are presuming. Additionally, it was a case of interesting timing that this came out just before Tulsi Gabbard’s hearing, so that it became the center of discussion from the reports I’ve seen.

I’ve generally been avoiding interviews, concussion causes fatigue and I should avoid screens, but did this with Jim Clancy —One thing I noted in the interview is that Jim is part of a long list of people in big media who were purged or targeted because of imperial Israel. The current state of affairs was a very long time coming. Here’s just a few of them — just on CNN, I’m surely forgetting some.

This leads to many questions including: Was JFK killed, at least in part, over Israel’s nukes? If so, is the US government’s refusal to acknowledge Israel’s nuclear weapons effectively a continuation of the assassination plot? Is Trump about America First? Or Israel First?

I’m continuing to heal from the concussion I got courtesy of the State Department. This limits the amount of time I can spend in front of a computer screen and is affecting me in other ways. I feel like my writing now has to be more flowing and less filled with links and such. It’s been eerie going to the State Department briefings under these conditions.

I remember years ago, my dad told me how Israel would always have something on every Arab state that they could use as leverage against them so as to limit their latitude regarding Palestine. Most obviously, Israel would hold their territory. So, Israel holding Egypt’s Sinai, helped lead to a treaty with Egypt that excluded the Palestinians. This would be celebrated in the US as a triumph of “peace”.

I have not written much lately largely because I’ve been told by doctors to take it easy and to minimize time in front of computer screens. A week after I attempted to question Blinken at his last news conference, at the urging of my primary care physician, I went to the ER at George Washington University Hospital and I was diagnosed with a concussion from the incident. The day after that, I went to the State Department to see if my “hard pass” card still worked to get me back in.
