You could soon be able to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies with a familiar, regulated investment platform. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has proposed letting retail (i.e. regular) investors buy crypto exchange-traded notes, a type of investment product, whereas previously only professional investors could do this.

Background Over half of older adults with diabetes remain on overly intensive or inappropriate medication regimens to treat diabetes and related complications, leading to adverse drug events, polypharmacy, and increased risk of hospitalization and death. This study aimed to identify facilitators and barriers to deprescribing diabetes medications in this population.
