A wanted 51-year-old man from Milwaukee was shot and killed by police on April 15 during a shootout with law enforcement officers and deputies in Iowa, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.The sheriff's office later identified the suspect as Vonderrick Rayford. He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Wisconsin.Rayford's vehicle was initially stopped just after 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 80 near mile marker 104 for speeding, according to the sheriff's office.

A Wisconsin teenager, killing his parents for money, was hoping to fuel an extremist view as part of an overarching plot to overthrow the United States government, which included calls for the assassination of President Donald Trump, newly unsealed federal records revealed. The revelations are laid out by FBI investigators in the documents filed in March in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

The city of Milwaukee Health Department requested the CDC's help March 26 with the investigation of lead exposure in Milwaukee Public Schools, after multiple schools tested positive for hazardous levels of lead contamination.

Menomonee Falls police searching for endangered missing 21-year-old man

The Menomonee Falls Police Department is asking for help to find an endangered, missing 21-year-old man, Darren Plaza.Police said Plaza walked away from his group home near Ranch and Claas Roads in Menomonee Falls. He was last seen on April 13 just before 1 p.m. on Appleton Avenue at the Milwaukee County line.Police said he has a cognitive disability and has a history of being verbally aggressive with law enforcement.They describe him as being 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing around 220 pounds.
Taylor County homicides, 15-year-old suspect found dead in car

A multi-day search for a Taylor County homicide suspect came to an end on April 12. The Taylor County Sheriff's Office said they were dispatched to the 1400 block of County Road M in the town of Pershing on April 9. When they arrived, they found two adults dead inside of a home. The sheriff's office never said how these victims died. On April 11, the sheriff's office identified 15-year-old Kadyn Hadden as a person of interest. They said he was also driving a silver 2012 Chevrolet Impala.

The Milwaukee Police Department is asking for help to find a critical missing 10-year-old boy.Police said Jordin Scott was last seen on foot on April 12 around 2:20 p.m. near Fond du Lac Avenue and 86th Street.Police said he's around 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds. He has brown eyes and was last seen wearing a Green Bay Packers hoodie and gray jogging pants.Anyone with information is asked to call the Milwaukee Police Department's Fourth District at 414-935-7242.
