    The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner identified the man shot and killed over the weekend at an apartment in Brown Deer as 41-year-old Akintunde Bowden. Brown Deer police said the shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. Saturday night. First responders on-scene tried to save Bowden's life, but he died from his injuries. Officers arrested a 27-year-old woman in the case, though officials have not yet released a possible motive for the killing.

    Milwaukee police are investigating reports of sex offenses involving a staff member at Rufus King High School, and now one of the families connected to the case has hired a high-profile attorney. Attorney B'Ivory LaMarr tells WISN 12 News he is representing a high-school age minor, and that the investigation potentially involves multiple students and a Rufus King Teacher. "I'm representing one of the minors implicated in the assaults that took place at Rufus King," LaMarr said.

    The president of Froedtert ThedaCare Health's South Region is apologizing after officials said a Milwaukee police officer was denied care at a FastCare clinic last week. Milwaukee Police Association president Alexander Ayala said the officer became sick while on-duty and went to the clinic in uniform. Ayala said clinic staff asked the officer to remove his department-issued gun. "He was denied service because he had his duty weapon," Ayala said.
