Authorities are investigating what they're calling a "maritime smuggling event" on Palm Beach near North Ocean Boulevard and Sunrise Avenue. At around 3 a.m. Friday, Palm Beach police were alerted of a vessel beached near The Breakers Palm Beach resort. U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested 10 migrants—a Bahamian, two Romanians, two Ecuadorians and five Dominicans. Two of the 10 taken into custody were brought to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

One person is dead following a dirt bike versus vehicle accident in Belle Glade on May 3. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO), Joel Trfoya, 27, was driving his Yamaha dirt bike westbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and approaching SW 8th Street, when a vehicle going eastbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard entered the path of Trfoya when attempting to make a left turn onto SW 8th Street.

Three people have been displaced following a townhouse fire in the Lago Lucerne development in Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) responded to the fire at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at the 3900 block of August Drive and found a two-story quad-plex with a fire from the bedroom. All three of the occupants got out of the apartment safely, one of the victims was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The fire appears to be accidental, according to PBCFR.
