The 96-year-old has directed the ESL program there for more than a decade, organizing classes for up to 100 students, getting materials, and tracking enrollment and student progress.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking nominations to fill upcoming vacancies on both the Patent Public Advisory Committee (PPAC) and the Trademark Public Advisory Committee (TPAC). The USPTO anticipates three upcoming vacancies for each committee. Selected members will serve a three-year term beginning Dec. 1, 2024, and can participate in the committees remotely. Nominations must be submitted online on or before July 5.

Out the back door, they go into the spacious yard. Sr. Camella leans on her walking stick a bit as she navigates the pavers next to the blossoming white and pink pear and peach trees under her care.
