Sie werden sich an einen Tisch setzen und eine politische Diskussion führen, über Migration, den Ukrainekrieg, Gerechtigkeit und all die anderen Fragen, die derzeit das Land entzweien. Und sie werden versuchen, ihr Gegenüber dabei etwas besser zu verstehen.

For some reason, every successful person seems to have a golden childhood. Nobody ever talks about child abuse. Which is exactly why I wanted to tell my story. If you do not know how research labs work, here is an overview of how they work: There is either one or more professors who head a lab. There will be PhDs, master’s degrees, interns and other research assistants that work in the lab. They may have weekly meetings, the professor meets with the their respective students on a weekly or biweekly basis as is convenient for them.

Even though we were unconscious of it, it was majorly because our survival depended on them and we didn’t want to do anything to piss them off lest they leave us behind in some forest, so to speak.

Well, I am not complaining. There’s nothing wrong with the societal conditioning it provides. I am not here to make the society a villain and you the victim. In fact, there are many pros to the societal conditioning. It’s the society that teaches us to behave in a civil manner.
