A NEW TWO-SIDED MURAL graces the Lilburn City Park Pavilion. Commissioned by Mayor Johnny Crist, the work is a product of Sonny Franks, a Clemson graduate who has painted his entire life. Franks is also the June Citizen of the Month for Lilburn. Franks particularly enjoyed the quote from Mark Twain, which graces half the mural. “He’s my favorite author,” Franks says.
