The incident took place just after 12.20pm on Sunday, June 8, when Amy-Rose Wilkins and her two sons were on their way to the Swindon Designer Outlet for a day out. They say their day took a turn for the worse when a driver swerved into Amy-Rose's car on the junction 16 roundabout of the M4. Despite stopping to check that the family was unharmed, the driver now allegedly reportedly denies the damage he caused to the car.

Deborah Haynes from Devizes has been awarded an MBE while Michael Grimshaw from Chippenham has received a British Empire Medal as part of the King's 2025 Birthday Honours List.

Swindon Fire Station's overflowing charity bins (Image: Swindon Fire Station) Swindon Fire Station has been forced to issue a public warning over people using their charity donation bins. The emergency service based on Drove Road has three donation bins on site that people can donate clothing to which generates funds for the Firefighters Charity. However, the behaviour of some has been causing issues.
