ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Stray showers remain in the forecast for parts of SE Minn. and NE Iowa this evening. Many of us will remain dry, but a few locations could see a couple of sprinkles before Midnight. Skies will be mostly cloudy overnight with light northeast winds at 5-10 mph and lows in the mid-30s. We are closing in on the end of Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota, and today’s topic touches on tornadoes. Do you know where your safe place is?

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Additional shower chances are possible overnight into Thursday, with temperatures trending warmer into the weekend. Tonight, a few clouds will remain, along with the possibility of a couple of stray showers. Winds will be light out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. Temperatures remain in the 50s for highs on Thursday, with periodic stray showers possible during the day, especially in the afternoon.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC)—Our area will enjoy beautiful weather on Sunday, with highs in the 50s and mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Winds will be breezy at times out of the west at 5-15 mph. Clouds roll back in later tonight as a cold front approaches. This could spark a few stray rain and snow showers after 10 pm. Little to no accumulation is expected. Winds will increase coming from the north at 10-15 mph. Colder temperatures filter in on the back side of the cold front.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC)—The region is gearing up for a beautiful weekend with sunshine returning. Winds will be strong today, out of the northwest at 15-20 mph with gusts of 30-40 mph possible. Afternoon highs will be seasonably cool in the upper 30s and low 40s, with clouds during the early morning and widespread sunshine throughout the rest of the day. Sunday looks to be the best day of this weekend to get outside.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Friday will bring a quiet end to the work week, with seasonal temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. Winds will be light out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. A cold front will pass through our area late tonight, which may produce a few sprinkles, but confidence is low. Most of us will remain dry tonight with overcast skies and temps in the upper 20s and low 30s.
