    ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – We are trading the beautiful sunshine from the weekend for some much-needed rainfall early this week. Scattered showers and storms will move in from the west along the I-35 corridor after 5/6 pm, arriving in the Rochester area after 7 pm, and reaching the Mississippi River around 9 pm. Conditions will remain blustery during the evening and overnight, with winds gusting upwards of 40 mph in some locations.

    ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Portions of SE Minn. saw severe storms this afternoon. Our threat of severe weather is now over, and we will expect to see a quiet and dry evening. Expect there to be very strong winds in our area as a frontal boundary moves through. Wind gusts of 50-60 mph and blowing dust and dirt are possible this evening. A Wind Advisory will be in effect until 7 pm for the majority of SE Minn. and NE Iowa.

    ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – We had a break in the rain this afternoon after a morning round of showers. Another round of isolated showers and a few rumbles of thunder are possible this evening before midnight. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid-40s with breezy east winds at 5-15 mph. A cold front will pass through early Friday morning, keeping afternoon temperatures on the cooler side in the low to mid-50s. Sky conditions will be overcast with breezy northwest winds at 10-15 mph.

    ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Many of us picked up more beneficial moisture overnight and early this morning. Rainfall amounts varied in location, ranging from 0.10″ on the low side to over 0.80″ on the high side. We will enjoy a dry evening across SE Minn. & NE Iowa this evening before additional rain moves in for Wednesday. This evening will be beautiful weather to get outside and enjoy a walk or do some grilling. Clouds will gradually increase overnight with mild temperatures in the mid-40s.

Many of us will remain dry, but a few locations could see a couple of sprinkles before Midnight. Skies will be mostly cloudy overnight with light northeast winds at 5-10 mph and lows in the mid-30s.
