Back in 2014, Jordan Clarkson was playing at the University of Missouri as a redshirt junior and would soon enter the NBA draft. That same year, his father, Mike Clarkson, was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Ryan Smith says that Austin Ainge will have final say and will give recommendations to Smith. So, that's a lot more clear than the last time the Jazz hired an Ainge

Austin Ainge was asked about his philosophy on tanking, manipulating minutes to improve lottery odds, etc. His answer: "You won't see that this year."
