Deseret News
The Deseret News is a daily newspaper based in Salt Lake City, Utah. As of December 31, 2020, it was recognized as Utah's longest-running daily newspaper. It boasts the highest Sunday circulation in the state. The publication is owned by Deseret News Publishing Company, which is a part of Deseret Management Corporation, a holding entity affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The name "Deseret" comes from the term for "honeybee" found in the Book of Mormon.

The Jazz, alongside the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets, had the best odds of getting the No. 1 overall pick in next month's NBA draft and thus the right to select Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg.
