I was greeted today in the Charles De Gaulle Airport by 2024 Paris Olympic volunteers — boasting purple shirts and holding signs welcoming the world to their beautiful city. It was hard not to feel their energy and excitement in this town replete with Olympic messaging. Reaching Paris marked, for me, the end of a long journey. I left for France three days earlier, just as a major tech outage derailed services around the world.

Men, many who had addictions or criminal records, needed jobs. Palmer vowed to help. He started Purposeful Design, a non-profit furniture building company that works with large office complexes in Indiana.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints launched the fifth and final season of the “Book of Mormon Videos” series in early 2024. Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles serves as the chair of the Scriptures Committee and has overseen the production of the “Book of Mormon Videos.” The Church recently hit a significant milestone in the distribution of the Book of Mormon, and Elder Renlund said the launch of this final season comes at an important time.
