Geoffrey Baulcomb, from Eastbourne, was captured on a nine-second video performing the procedure, which involved enlarging the opening of a man’s urethra, on January 4, 2020, the Old Bailey previously heard. The 79-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident in December 2022. Baulcomb was ordained as a priest in 1970 and was formerly vicar at St Mary the Virgin Church in Eastbourne.

The Met Office warned heavy showers and thunderstorms could lead to some disruption to transport and infrastructure. The weather forecaster has issued a yellow weather warning for the entire county and much of the south. It comes into effect from 9am tomorrow and ends at 6pm the same day.

Adur District Council wants to hear from residents, workers and businesses on the proposals to improve the centre of Lancing’s shopping area with a pocket park, more planting and seating. In April, the playground at Shadwells Road Open Space in the village was transformed with new equipment after residents said they would like the area to be improved for families. Discussions with the community also led to the idea of investing in North Road to make it more accessible.

The woman, aged 19 at the time, said she was dragged into a Brighton park at 4am and that she felt the attack was by somebody who knew what they were doing. Accused Graham Head, of Pevensey, denies five charges of kidnapping, attempted rape and three sexual assaults in August and November 2022. Lewes Crown Court previously heard the 68-year-old described as a fake Uber driver with a rape kit in his car who prowled the streets looking for vulnerable young women.
