They stopped the newscast at KAAL (Rochester, MN) so one Anchor could go and get a cake and a balloon for his co-anchor. Why are you wasting the viewers time with this? Also, I think any birthday after the age of 16 is worthless. I guess, 21 if you’re looking forward to drinking legally. If you really feel like you need to give your co-worker a balloon, can’t you wait and do it off air? Just saying…

I remember when I took my first TV job in Florida and it paid just $15,000 a year. The boss at the time, said, “Here in Florida, you get paid in sunshine.” But, after moving to the Sunshine State, I learned that “sunshine” didn’t pay the rent, food, or electric bill, and I found myself making trips to the local pawn shop, just to makes ends meet. Here’s a job at Fox O&O WTVT in Tampa for an MMJ. This is a top 15 market and the pay starts at $58K a year.

Back in 2017, FTVLive told you that KVOA (Tucson) Weekend Anchor Angelique Lizarde was getting bumped up to the main gig at the Allen Media station. After her promotion, her GM, Bill Shaw said at the time, “This is a well-deserved promotion for a hard working journalist,” said Shaw.  “Angelique has proven herself to be outstanding member of our team, and a leader, in our newsroom.”Fast forward to 2025 and Allen Media has kicked Lizarde to the curb.

Trump said that CNN hates our country. “I just want to say for the record, since we heard President Trump say in the Oval Office that CNN hates our country — CNN does not hate our country,” Dana Bash told viewers after Trump made the remark.
