    Sinclair’s KOMO in Seattle is back to allowing comments on stories posted to their website. There was a point when the comment section was turned off by KOMO as it was a cesspool of anonymous and vile comments, much like Twitter. But, when you turn off comments, you see a dip in traffic, so KOMO turned the comments back on. Last week, the station did a story about a child allegedly murdered by a parent and a commenter posted a straight up racist comment.

    f you’re a Met looking to land a gig at Fox Weather, I would advise you to move to Lexington, Kentucky. Fox Weather just hired Bayne Froney as an on-air Meteorologist. Froney had been a meteorologist at WLEX in Lexington,She starts her new role on June 16th and will be based at FOX Weather headquarters in New York City. If you’re keeping score, that is now three former Lexington meteorologist that are at FOX weather. Michael Estime (WTVQ) and Ian Oliver (WLEX) also are working at Fox Weather.

    Former KTBS 3 News Director and Anchor Bill Lunn has filed a lawsuit alleging that Nexstar's KTAL, where he previously served as News Director and Anchor, failed to properly vet, edit, or confirm defamatory accusations labeling him a child predator. The lawsuit underscores the prominent role Lunn held at both Shreveport stations. Lunn's resignation from KTBS in June of last year followed a Shreveport Police investigation into an incident he reported as an assault and attempted truck theft.
