Max Verstappen avoided saying much specific about Red Bull dropping Liam Lawson - but it's clear he doesn't agree. Horner/Marko have already commented on Max's view. He said: "Everything has been shared with the team. It's not necessary to always say everything in public."

Laurent Mekies and his team have made a big effort to rally around Lawson after his demotion from Red Bull. Think that support will play a big part in how Lawson deals with it. Mekies already looked keen yesterday at the Tokyo show run to put an arm round Lawson's shoulder.

This demo course has (inevitably) a nasty tight hairpin and Tsunoda has been having so much fun through it. Easy to get stuck - Hadjar did a couple of times! - but Tsunoda was having a blast, sliding it on the throttle. Made for a great audio and visual experience 👏🏻
