The Cumberland County High School Jets continued their strong play Tuesday night when they picked up a big win over Livingston Academy [LA] in the second round of the district tournament in Crossville. The Stone Memorial Lady Panthers came close to a state championship Thursday night when they lost 34-14 to Ravenwood in the TSSAA State Flag Football Championship in Murfreesboro.

The Stone Memorial Panthers finished runner-ups this past week in the district baseball tournament at Upperman High School in Baxter. The Panthers had an up and down journey through the tournament, earning a spot in the championship game on a walk-off, one-run victory over White County in the title game of the consolation bracket.
