A bath tissue and paper product company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Parade reports that Royal Paper, a Phoenix, Arizona-based manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy protection on April 8. Royal Paper was founded in 1992 and serves as a third-party manufacturer for products sold at chains such as Aldi, Kroger, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. TheStreet reports that Sofidel America Corp. will acquire all of Royal Paper’s assets.

A reporter with CBS 21 has announced her departure from the local news station. Elise Person posted to her Facebook page that her final day working with CBS 21 was April 15. “Today marked my last day as a reporter for CBS 21 News,” the post read. “Over the years, I’ve told hundreds of stories of those from across Central PA. Thank you to those who trusted me to share a piece of their lives, often stories of strength and resiliency.”Person joined the CBS 21 news team in September of 2022.

A transgender singer has canceled plans for his upcoming U.S. tour due to the Trump administration’s policies targeting trans visa applicants. LGBTQ Nation reports that Canadian singer-songwriter Bells Larsen has canceled upcoming concerts in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and other cities this summer. In a post on his Instagram page, Larsen shared the concerts could not happen due to the new visa policies put in place by the Trump administration.
