Welcome back to another edition of Husky History, the column that highlights a former UConn athlete and their accomplishments in Storrs and their professional careers. This week’s edition is the final one of the 2023-24 school year and I wanted to give my thanks to all who took the time out of their day each week to read my work. It is greatly appreciated.

The third round was unfortunately canceled due to the weather, but for the first two, the Huskies made an exceptional effort. In the first round they shot 293 and came back to shoot 283. The total, 576, helped them finish at an even par for the course.

Here we are. The Final Four. After the seasons have changed and hundreds of college basketball games have been played, we are down to four teams duking it out on the final weekend of the season. Those teams are UConn, Alabama, NC State and Purdue. Most people predicted UConn and Purdue to make deep runs, but it’s safe to say Alabama and NC State were unexpected at this stage. With that being said, it’s March Madness and anything can happen.
