The Yellow Warning could lead to flooding and disruptions. The Met Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for thunderstorms in the UK. The warning covers parts of England and Wales from midday on Monday to 10 pm. Most of Wales is covered by the warning, as well as an area of England, stretching from the South West across to Kent, and up to Stoke-on-Trent. Nearly 50mm of rain could fall in some areas, according to Sky News weather presenter Jo Wheeler.

It comes after his Inter Miami side were hammered 4-1. David Beckham has slammed MLS rivals Minnesota United, telling them to “show a little respect” following social media posts from the club. Saturday saw Beckham’s Inter Miami suffer a 4-1 defeat to Minnesota, which is the heaviest defeat they have suffered since the arrival of Lionel Messi in July of 2023. It was their fourth defeat in their last five games in all competitions.

A Qatari statement on Sunday announced that they had held discussions with Trump about “the possible transfer” of a luxury plane for the president to use temporarily. While the statement did not mention the plane being a gift, Trump himself appeared to confirm this was the case when he posted on his Truth Social platform.
