Indian Trail MADISON - Indian Trail High School and Academy senior Claire Koch visited the state Capitol in March to take part in the state legislature's intensive 2025 Senate Scholar Program, where students gain first-hand experience with legislative proceedings. During her week there, she and other program students met with legislators, support agency staff, media, lobbyists, and others who work in and around the building.

God's Kitchen served it's eighth annual Easter meal at Christ the King Church, 5934 8th Ave., on Saturday. There was enough free food to serve 300 visitors, a goal Arnetta Griffin set for the event. Griffin says she continues to serve meals to all you want it through her nonprofit God's Kitchen "because the community needs it.""The longer I do this, the more people I can get to come," said Griffin. "We're family," she said referring to the Kenosha community.
