PLEASANT PRAIRIE - The village police department in cooperation with the Kenosha Area Noon Optimist Club and Great Lakes Cycling will hold its annual bicycle rodeo on Saturday. The free event will be from 9 a.m. to noon in the south parking lot of Village Hall, 9915 39th Ave., with parking available in the north lot.

SouthEast Eye Physicians and Surgeons in Kenosha is set to debut its new location to the public. The practice is now at 6127 Green Bay Road, Suite 300, relocating a few doors down from its former location in the same Old Elm Building complex. The office will host an open house from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 16. "Our patients come first and we want to do the very best with what is entrusted to us," said Silva Karapetian, office director.

Seventh- and eighth-grade students from throughout the area recently visited Kenosha County's Downtown government campus for 2025 American Legion Law Day activities. They started the activities on May 6 with remarks from county elected officials, state lawmakers and law enforcement leaders, and then toured courtrooms, the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office and the Kenosha Police Department. The day concluded with lunch at American Legion Post 21.

SOMERS - The University of Wisconsin-Parkside will honor more than 550 graduates at two spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 17. The graduations will be held at De Simone Arena on campus at 900 Wood Road. The first ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. with doors opening at 8 a.m. and will include graduates from the College of Business Economics and Computing and the College of Arts and Humanities.
