At The Curragh this evening all eyes will be on the unraced Aidan O’Brien horses as he looks for some solace after Albert Einstein was ruled out of Royal Ascot. Amadeus Mozart is interesting in the opener, but the one I want to be on is Flushing Meadows, who makes his debut in the 5.15pm over six furlongs with Ryan Moore presumably picking him ahead of stable companions Lewis Carroll and Puerto Rico.

In the mile maiden at 4.17pm the Willam Haggas trained Archivist has been frustrating so far, finishing second on his last four starts, three for the now retired Sir Michael Stoute, and again in his debut for a new stable. Running on well on his return to action at Nottingham despite failing to get a clear run until after the winner had flown, he closed out his race in eye-catching fashion and a clear run in this lesser contest ought to see him home in front at last.

Gerwyn Price will open his defence of the Mr Vegas Nordic Darts Masters against Cor Dekker, while Luke Humphries and Madars Razma also go head-to-head in Copenhagen as the World Series of Darts resumes this weekend. Following events in Bahrain and Den Bosch in January, the 2025 World Series of Darts continues at Forum Copenhagen on June 6-7, as a 16-player field compete for silverware in the Danish capital.
