#1 · Okay, to set this up I bought my first Swiss made automatic watch about a year ago from Jomashop. It was an older model, new in box, Tissot Le Locle chronometer with a 2824 inside, which I suppose translates to new/old stock. It ran very well over the first few months before it began to constantly lose at least 12 seconds a day no matter how it was placed; well outside COSC standards. Ball makes higher end divers and other tritium watches. There’s a lot of Deep Blue fans on here for their more affordable tritium watches. There almost always a significant discount code for their website. I don’t have any experience with either of their products, though, so I can’t actually recommend anything.

Thank you, as we know there are many possibilities. As you say it could be the color of the date wheel. Factory U4R36s generally ship without any day wheel so the installer can pick the day wheel that matches the crown location. Gray non-diver vs black diver dial rings is probably the reason. Pinion height is another possibility. Aside from people guessing what it could be, I am hoping someone here definitively knows for sure.

I do have now, and/or did have, well over a dozen Seikos powered by 6R15s and 6R35s. Personally, luck of the draw some might say, they have always been very accurate and good runners. Been long wearing this LE Black Series Sumo 6R35 the last few days. Noticed it was bang-on with the atomic clock that I set it up a few days back, so I tossed it on the Wichi to see what it would show. Beat error aside this is what it showed (case back never opened):

I occasionally respond to WTB posts, my method is to include lots of good photos with proper full description, then end my PM with "Make me an offer". After all, I have to figure the OP has some idea as to what he wants to part with depending on condition. Probably 3/4 of the time I get "I don't know, how much you want?" or a transparently obvious false weak reason to decline. Happened again today, on another forum. Why do you think this is?

Bought myself a nice cheap skin diver, seller said he would cancel if I wanted to because he had described it incorrectly. I said no, please ship. Then he said the case back was loose because another bidder asked for a photo of the movement but he didn't have the proper tool to tighten it. So would I want to cancel? I said no problem, deal still on, please ship. Then he posted a USPS tracking number that a week later was still showing as " label created" but not dropped off.
