BOULDER – Head coach Danny Sanchez announced the 2025 Colorado soccer schedule on Wednesday, along with the Big 12 Conference schedule release. The Buffaloes will play eight non-conference matchups before an 11-match Big 12 schedule. The 2025 slate features 12 home matches and eight opponents from the 2024 NCAA Tournament. CU will be back at Prentup Field for the first time with an exhibition matchup against in-state rival Colorado College on Aug. 7.

CHICAGO – Colorado newcomer Reagan Kotschau was one of 24 players to be called up to the U.S. Under-20 Women's Youth National Team training camp set for March 31-April 7 at the Kansas City Current's University of Kansas Health System Training Center. Becki Tweed, a current assistant coach for the San Diego Wave, a former assistant coach for Angel City FC, and a former U.S. U20 WNT assistant coach, will run that camp.

BOULDER – Colorado's Johanna Teder and Kindyll Wetta earned Academic All-District as announced by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-American ballot. First, Second and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 16.

BOULDER – Colorado women's basketball returns to the CU Events Center, opening the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT) on Thursday (7 p.m.). The No. 1 seeded Buffaloes will host the Southland Conference regular season champions, Southeastern Louisiana. Thursday will be the second meeting between CU and SLU. The Buffaloes and Lady Lions previously met in 2016-17, during head coach JR Payne's first season in Boulder. Colorado trounced SLU that day, 112-54, starting the season 7-0.

KANSAS CITY – Colorado's Frida Formann and Jade Masogayo were bestowed All-Big 12 honorable mention honor on Tuesday, ahead of Wednesday's start to the Big 12 Championship. The honor is Formann's third conference honorable mention selection, totaling two from the Pac-12 Conference. It is Masogayo's first all-conference team selection. She was the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year in 2023. Formann, a graduate guard, leads the Buffs in scoring this season with 12.5 points per game.
