The Colorado Buffaloes football team represents the University of Colorado Boulder in NCAA Division I FBS college football. Currently, they compete in the Pac-12 Conference, after being a founding member of the Big 12 Conference and previously part of the Big Eight Conference. Since 1924, the team has played its home games at Folsom Field. As of the end of the 2016 season, the Buffaloes' overall record stands at 694 wins, 493 losses, and 36 ties, giving them a winning percentage of .583. They achieved a National Championship title in 1990 and rank 23rd in total wins and 30th in winning percentage in college football history.

McErlane comes to Boulder after spending the last three seasons at DePaul. She did not play in 2024-25 due to injury.     BOULDER – Colorado soccer concluded its spring season with a successful defense of the Colorado Cup, its fourth straight win in the battle of front-range schools. CU was without the familiar faces from years past with the departure of Shyra James, the program's all-time leading goal scorer, and two-year captain Rachel Rosen. The Buffaloes were minus 12 players in total from the fall roster, which helped CU to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019.
