    FLATWOODS, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Police in Flatwoods are looking for a man with dementia who went missing. Mickey Williams, 72, of Flatwoods, was last seen wearing jeans and a white t-shirt. Police tell WSAZ he’s about 5′6 and 200 lbs. Police say Williams was last seen on Clay Street, just off Powell Lane. If you see him, you’re asked to call 911.

    LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man has been arrested on stalking and driving under the influence charges in Logan County after police say he violated a protective order. West Virginia State Police say Milton Belcher was arrested on May 21 for violating an initial protective order and impersonating a police officer after a complaint from the victim. Troopers say the victim then reported Belcher continued to violate the requirements of the order the following week and was again arrested on May 27.

(WSAZ) -- A new trial date has been set involving a civil lawsuit filed by Cabell County Schools about a canceled school trip. 273 families are now hoping to get their money back for a school field trip to Washington, D.C. that was lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The situation dates back to 2019 when Barboursville and Milton Middle School signed contracts with the Eric A. Morrison Travel Agency. Parents shelled out $800 dollars per student, but the trip never happened.

    CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters at the scene of a house fire Friday morning. The call came in just after 6 a.m.The fire broke out along the 800 block of Hanna Drive. Our crew at the scene says it’s a single story home. Charleston Fire Department firefighters at the scene tell WSAZ there were people inside of the home when the flames broke out, but they were able to get out safely. The cause of this fire is not known at this time. Keep checking the WSAZ App for the latest information.

    PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man police say has been on the run for nearly six years was recently arrested, and appeared in court. Charles Ray Blevins has been arraigned for a murder in Pike County, Kentucky that took place nearly six years ago. Blevins is from Williamson, West Virginia, and was a U.S. Marshals Service major case fugitive and was being considered for elevation to the agency’s 15 Most Wanted fugitives list.
