WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A man who the Wayne County Sheriff described as a ‘major drug dealer’ was arrested in Prichard during a traffic stop. According to the sheriff’s office, the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the traffic stop and John Maynard, of Huntington, gave members permission to search his vehicle. During the search, the liner inside the trunk was removed and revealed three plastic bags containing approximately five pounds of methamphetamine.

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) - A business that was heavily impacted by devastating flooding that hit eastern Kentucky has now re-opened. Planet Fitness in Weddington Plaza in Coal Run Village in Pike County, Kentucky reopened on Monday, April 21. The business had just opened in October of last year. GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) - A man died after a rollover crash in Gallia County on Tuesday morning. The crash happened around 1 a.m. on State Route 588 near milepost 11, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers say Christopher Copley, 57, of Gallipolis, lost control of the car on a curve, traveled off the right side of the road, and hit an embankment before the car rolled over. Troopers say Copley was not wearing a seatbelt.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The Charleston City Council passed a resolution that would change the zoning ordinance to allow signage on buildings more than 10 stories tall. The resolution will allow wall signage to be placed at the top of buildings if it is appropriately scaled to the size of the building. This resolution also would allow one sign per side of a building.
