HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The City of Houston has changed its supply purchasing process to include more minority and women-owned businesses (MWBEs). Chief Procurement Officer Jedediah Greenfield told ABC13 that the city currently purchases supplies worth between $5 and $8 million. Previously, if an MWBE small business wanted to sell to the city, it would have had to purchase supplies from a prime vendor or a wholesaler and then sell them back to that same business at a markup.

Embroiled in controversy and a legal fight with city officials, the “Darth Vader” house is back on the market in Texas. The imposing structure in West University Place, just outside Houston, is listed for $3.75 million. Events at the house have been the center of an ongoing lawsuit between the City of West University Place and DV1, a limited liability company in possession of the home.

Carter's foul occurred late in the third quarter of Indiana's win when, after making a basket, Carter knocked down Clark as the Fever rookie awaited an inbounds pass. Carter appeared to say something before slamming her shoulder into Clark, causing her to fall to the ground. Carter was whistled for an away-from-the-play foul, giving Clark her lone free throw attempt of the game, but officials did not upgrade it to a flagrant at the time. "I wasn't expecting that," Clark said after the game.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said a sergeant working traffic enforcement stopped a 47-year-old man for a broken tail light and expired registration just before 3 p.m. in the area of FM-1960 and Red Oak Drive.
