Of all the kugels out there — from potato to cauliflower — noodle kugel is by far my favorite. Whether it’s studded with raisins and cinnamon, flavoured with cranberries and apples, or topped with cornflakes (if you’re not convinced, read this strong case for why your noodle kugel needs crunch), I love it all. I love discovering a new baking hack, and while scrolling through Instagram for longer than I care to admit publicly, I came across these adorable Christmas cookies using plastic numbers to countdown to the holiday. Easy, I promise.

Yesterday my 5 year old daugther said this to my 1 year old son: "Dude, you're not being a mensch. To be a mensch you need to be kind, nice, sharing and friendly."
