I have a TV problem. Am the I only one who can’t watch mockumentary shows? I’ve had a sensitive stomach since I was little, to the point where I used to get seasick in the bathtub. (It’s okay — you can laugh.) So, the camera movement on shows like “The Office”? Forget it. Absolutely nausea-inducing. Back in 2009, I barely got through the pilot of “Modern Family.” I’ve never seen an episode of “Abbott Elementary” because I know how ill its camera style would make me feel.

Where does the time go? This past Saturday, May 17, marked 25 years since “Beverly Hills, 90210” ended. I can still see myself in my childhood bedroom — I was all of 12 years old at the time — watching the series finale, as if it was just yesterday. Of course, this date technically also marks Donna and David’s 25th wedding anniversary, a milestone Tori Spelling celebrated on social media. Their wedding ceremony remains one of my all-time favorite Donna moments all these years later.

It’s rare for a TV show to come up with the perfect ending once. Yet, somehow, “One Tree Hill” managed to pull it off multiple times. Though the series didn’t actually end until season 9, there were three season finales before then that could’ve — and perhaps should’ve — sufficed as grand finales.

But that’s what I’m telling myself and here’s why: After 10 years of living in an area of Wilmington known as Ogden/Porters Neck, later this week I’m moving to an area called... Scotts Hill. All the credit goes to TDW guest writer Vallie Lynn Watson for being the first to make the teen drama connection between “Scotts” and “Hill.” As if I wasn’t already excited enough about my move, this makes it feel a bit more meant to be.
