Healey's proposal is the second stage of an "energy affordability agenda" that she launched in March following customer outrage about skyrocketing energy bills during the winter months. The Healey administration said its initial efforts could save customers nearly $6 billion over five years.

Less than two weeks after Harvard University pledged to take action in response to internal reports on antisemitism and anti-Arab prejudice at the Ivy League campus, a group delivered 452 discrimination complaints on Monday. Harvard released the reports on April 30 while the university simultaneously battles the Trump administration over demands to limit campus activism, reforms the government says are necessary to root out campus antisemitism.

Embattled Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson is expected to plead guilty Monday to federal corruption charges in connection with an alleged kickback scheme. Fernandes Anderson, 46, was arrested in December by the FBI at her home in Dorchester and pleaded not guilty in federal court.She was indicted by a federal grand jury and is accused of taking a $7,000 kickback from a relative she hired.

While most Bostonians believe the nation is on the wrong track, new polling finds that voters are much more optimistic about the future of their city and that the incumbent mayor gets generally high marks. The data is from the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, which conducted online surveys of 564 likely Boston voters between April 23 and 25. Poll organizers said the margin of error is 4.1%.
