Pyridine-woven covalent organic framework facilitating the immobilization of Co single atoms towards efficient photocatalytic H2 evolution The solar-driven hydrogen evolution from water splitting provides an ideal protocol for alleviating the global energy crisis and environmental issues. However, the efficiency of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution is often limited by poor light-absorption ability, sluggish electron-hole kinetics, and ineffective charge transfer.

Synthesis of N, Si co-doped carbon dots to establish fluorescent sensor for Hg(II) detection with triple signal outp Mercury is deemed as the heavy metal with extreme toxicity. Thus it is of significance to develop effective method for mercury ions detection with high performances. In the work, carbon dots doped with nitrogen and silicon (N, Si/CQDs) was successfully prepared from folic acid and N-[3-(trimethoxysily)propyl]-ethylenediamine.
