Clinical placements make up a large proportion of medical school, and placements in GP offer an environment rich in potential to influence perceptions:I had slightly negative views about going into GP before coming (to university) but then we had like a clinical session with a GP and she made it sound really interesting and I thought ‘actually, maybe I shouldn’t close any doors yet’.
