David Vincent, of Park View Road, was annoyed when he noticed that a new sign was put up outside Broomhill Library to say that the car park was for customers only. He believes that there is not enough residential parking space in the area, hence many residents understood that they could use this car park, especially in case they had guests over. Mr Vincent said he did not like that the new sign was added without consultation with residents.

Lavenham Community Primary School has put in a proposal to Suffolk County Council to remodel an outer building. They hope that the remodel will help add an additional teaching space at the site. The agents, Concretus, told the planners in their design statement that if the school receives any more student applications for the 2025/26 academic year, then they would have difficulty accommodating them.

Scammers used Ipswich, Australia instead of Ipswich, UK (Image: Sarah Lucy Brown) An attempt was made in Ipswich to scam people into buying a six-month bus ticket but those behind the plan used the wrong Ipswich on their social media. Last week, a new Facebook page emerged called 'Public transport in Ipswich', which had pictures of Ipswich Buses and was offering a special smart card with six months of free travel. This was very quickly deemed as a scam by the real Ipswich Buses.
