    Chloe Hickman was in Westminster on Thursday to hand in a petition she started following her mum Louise's death, calling for a new law - 'Louise's Law' - which would make it mandatory for doctors and other medics to get a second opinion on benign tumours. In June last year, Miss Hickman's mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, five years after doctors initially thought it was a benign cyst, misdiagnosing her. She died aged 47 on June 26, 2024.

    Hank's will open its doors from 12pm on Tuesday next week in its new premises in The Walk and Thoroughfare. The owners, Elora Timms and Shaun Warner, announced they were moving location in May, one year after taking over the vegan business which was situated in St Helen's Street.     Andrew Hardwicke was pulled over by ununiformed police officers as he drove along Alderlee Road on August 8 last year, Suffolk Magistrates’ Court was told. Officers found that Hardwicke, of Felixstowe Road, had only a provisional driving licence and was not driving with L plates. He also had no insurance and failed a roadside drug test, which later confirmed that he had 5.2 microgrammes of THC in his bloodstream per litre of blood. The legal limit is 2mcg.

    Nineteen-year-old Kailum Roper was letting off steam after having been spent the past few weeks working “all hours” at a Woodbridge restaurant when an incident occurred at Revolution at Ipswich's Old Cattle Market. Roper, of Brownrigg Walk, appeared in the dock at the town’s magistrates’ court on Tuesday, having already pleaded guilty to criminal damage and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
