At a time when community colleges are dealing with a shifting terrain in funding, Tarrant County College officials anticipate slightly increased revenues in their next budget. Projected revenues for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year budget will increase to $425 million — a $4.4 million bump. Pamela Anglin, the chief financial officer for the six-campus community college system, presented the draft budget at a June 12 TCC board meeting.

Burch V, an engineer and academic from Mississippi State University, will become TCU’s next vice provost for research. He begins work on Aug. 1. “TCU’s strategic plan reminds us that it’s important to ‘keep the main thing the main thing.’ The main thing for TCU is the students,” said Burch in a statement.
