Thomas Randle was third in the #55 Castrol Mustang for Tickford Racing, 0.2s off the pace. There were seven different teams in the top seven. After Randle came Broc Feeney (Triple Eight), James Golding (PremiAir), Chaz Mostert (WAU), and Jaxon Evans (BJR). Will Brown (Triple Eight), James Courtney (BRT), and Macauley Jones (BJR) completed the top 10.

Under a new rule for 2025, first- and second-year drivers are given an extra set of tyres for Practice 1. Evans was among them, as was Walkinshaw Andretti United’s Ryan Wood. Wood clocked a 55.446s in the #2 Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Ford Mustang on his fifth lap of Wanneroo Raceway, which stood the test of time for the lion’s share of the session. However, with two minutes to go, Evans shot to the top in the #12 SCT Racing Camaro on a 55.236s.

To date, the cars have only been available on the second-hand market. However, prospective owners can now acquire the car via Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia. The opportunity comes via Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand, which will manage the sale, distribution, parts, and technical support of the GT4 race car for Australian customers. There are currently two GT4-spec Toyota GR Supras racing in Australia. Tony Quinn owns one, which he races with Chris White under the Keltic Racing banner.

The Pramac Yamaha rider has been solid if unspectacular upon returning to the team he last rode for in 2020. His fifth place finish at Circuit of the Americas in the third round of the season is his best result to date in an otherwise up and down campaign. Miller suffered three straight DNFs at Lusail, Jerez, and Le Mans before bouncing back at Silverstone with a seventh place finish. The Australian occupies 16th in the riders’ championship and is second of all the Yamaha riders.

A video posted to YouTube by Auto Buyers Guide briefly showed what appeared to be a Dodge Ram in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series trim. The video, which has since been made private, was part of the unveiling for the new Dodge Ram by its parent company Stellantis. The stock car appears to have the same facia as the new Dodge Ram and the Craftsman window banner that appears on every Truck Series racer.
