Bacchanal is a tried-and-true Columbia spring tradition. Every year, as Bacchanal season approaches, students have exceedingly high expectations about what the event and their experiences will look like. Unfortunately, sometimes these expectations just aren’t met. Now, this isn’t the fault of Columbia or the Bacchanal committee—a lot of this is because of our own—often over—expectations regarding the event.
