Hello Erins,I’m writing from bed, surrounded by Gatorade bottles and Saltine sleeves. Being sick makes my brain feel like … well, this is a simile I think I’d be able to make more readily if I wasn’t sick, and that’s kind of the point. Language skills are among the first to go for me.

Ideally, you should tackle any mishaps and accidents immediately. If this is possible, use a clean cloth or wads of kitchen paper to blot up any wet stains by pressing hard against the stain and repeating with clean cloths or paper until the cloth or paper feels dry. Remember to blot, don't rub, as rubbing can ruin the finish of the fabric and push the stain deeper into the mattress. Then, proceed as below to remove the stain.

Hi Erins,Today is my Spring Break (?), which is only two days long at SAIC, but we have a shorter semester, so usually this isn’t a complaint for me. This morning, on the official first day of Spring, it SNOWED. It’s all melted now, but that picture up top is what it looked like this morning when I woke up.

Dear Erins, Do you feel more hopeful when there’s more sun? I do. This morning Tanager and I saw an adult skunk waddling around her daycare and it seemed like a good omen. If we had seen it in the dark night of winter, it could’ve felt like the opposite kind of thing.
