CARSON CITY, Nev. — A bill that would expand the legal definition of a DUI and maximize penalties for the crime passed in the Nevada Legislature's Senate Committee on Growth and Infrastructure Wednesday. Senate Bill 309 would make a number of changes to current laws surrounding driving under the influence. Significantly, it aims to add fentanyl to the current list of prohibited substances while driving a car.
