African green monkey kidney (Vero) cells (ATCC; CCL-81) were maintained in authors’ laboratory, and cultured in DMEM medium (Sigma Aldrich, St Louis, MO, USA) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, 100 IU/ml penicillin and 100 µg/ml streptomycin and incubated at 37 °C in 5% CO2 incubator. The PPRVvac was cultured in our laboratory, which was propagated by Vero cells [60].

No differences were detected on sow performance on body weight, litter weight, parity, and percentage of live, mummy and stillborn among the sows received 0, 0.25% and 0.5% of clofibrate in feed (Table 1). However, the number of the live piglets tended to be lower from sows receiving 0.25% clofibrate than 0 and 0.5% of clofibrate (P = 0.07).

For this experiment, we sourced specific pathogen-free (SPF) female BALB/c mice, aged 5–6 weeks and weighing 14–16 g each, from Chengdu Dossy Experimental Animals Co, Ltd. Commercially raised Holstein male calves, aged 2–3 months and weighing 90–100 kg each, were sourced from Sichuan Xuebao Dairy Group Company. The HEK293 cell containing the adenovirus E1 gene and Madin-Darby bovine kidney (MDBK) cell lines are preserved in our laboratory.

In summary, we performed WGRS on five individual Luning chickens to evaluate genomic diversity, evolutionary history, and signal selection in various local breeds. Our findings indicated that the 68.24–68.58 Mb genomic region on chrZ was significantly associated with pigmentation traits in black-bone chicken. Through integrated genomic and transcriptomic analysis, we identified ATP5E, EDN3 and LOC101750371 as potential influencers of pigmentation in chickens.

All experimental procedures were reviewed and approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, Southwest Minzu University (Chengdu) (Number 20200120). Methods were performed according to the guidelines and regulations. Isolation and culture of goat intramuscular preadipocytes and subcutaneous adipocytes were performed as previously described [52, 53]. Cells stored in liquid nitrogen were thawed in a 37 ℃ water bath.

AbstractFeWO4/g-C3N5 composites were prepared by a facile hydrothermal method. The composition and morphology of the catalysts were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The composition of FeWO4 and g-C3N5 successfully reduces the band gap of g-C3N5 and broadens visible light response range.
