NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is fighting for his life after a crash in Antioch early Wednesday morning, when his vehicle collided with a guardrail that pierced straight through his car. Metro Nashville Police said the crash happened around 2 a.m. on Pin Hook Road. The driver of a white Kia struck the end of a guardrail, which speared through the front windshield and exited the rear window of the vehicle.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - It took the better part of two days, but a jury panel of 16 people - 12 main jurors and four alternates - is now in place for the federal corruption trial of former Tennessee Speaker of the House Glen Casada and his former Chief of Staff Cade Cothren. Both men were in a Nashville federal courtroom again on Wednesday for the second day. Casada and Cothren face 20 federal counts of conspiracy, public corruption by fraud, bribery and name concealment, and money laundering.
