CEO Jean-François Conil-Lacoste therefore suggested: "We should consider a reasonable start date after the summer, namely 1 October 2025, as originally requested by the market participants.

Vienna (energate) - The Austrian construction group Strabag is seeking around 350 million euros in compensation from the Federal Republic of Germany for failed wind energy projects. Accordingly, the group has filed a lawsuit in a US district court. Previously, Strabag had been awarded around 240 million euros plus interest in damages as part of an arbitration judgement. Strabag originally planned several wind farms in the German North Sea.

Bonn (energate) - The Federal Network Agency has sided with the competitive metering point operator in a dispute. In essence, the case concerned the fact that EHA Energie-Handels-Gesellschaft had installed a metering cabinet as part of the smart meter rollout, which Netze BW did not accept. The grid operator therefore cancelled the metering point operator framework agreement.

Winterthur (energate) - Designwerk Technologies, a provider of electromobility solutions for heavy goods transport, has published figures on the actual energy consumption of electric vehicles. According to these figures, an electric truck with a battery capacity of up to 1,000 kWh and a payload of around 40 tonnes requires an average of 130 kWh/100 km.
